Its Finally Friday...............

Yippie! its the weekend! It has been a busy week. I hope that everyone has a great weekend, and just a reminder that Harris Teeter Grocery Stores are TRIPLING coupons up to .99 cents starting on March 25th-31st!

My Great Trip at the Stores Today!!

Wow Food Lion had some great deals today!! It pays to scan the asile sometimes and to compare prices. I got:

9- 2-liters of Dr.pepper/Diet Dr.Pepper they had coke products on sale this week for .89cents and then had .55 cent coupons on them! making them only .44 cents each!!!

I had some coupons to use up at Wal-Mart and got:

10- packs of huggies 40ct. wipes which are priced at $1.00 and when you use the $1.00 off any huggies bath and body product coupon you get them for FREE!!

At Dollar General:

10- boxes of Band Aids they are always priced there for $1.00 and there was a coupon that came out recently for $1.00 off any band aid product. which makes them FREE!!

Ice Cream Sandwhich Cake

This is a yummy and very affordable dessert that is a great crowd pleaser!


Ingredients:

12 ct. box of Ice cream sandwhiches (any brand will do)

1 cup. of heavy whipping cream

2 Tb. of powder sugar

1/2 cup of chocolate chips


Directions

In a medium mixing bowl, mix heavy cream and powder sugar on high until peaks form.
Then in a 8"by4" pan, put one layer of ice cream sandwhiches down and spoon half of cream mixture on top, making sure to spread evenly, the repeat with another layer of ice cream sandwhiches and then top with the remaining cream mixture, and the sprinkle the top with chocolate chips. Freeze for at least one hour before serving.
